The next ones are from the restaurant, you can see the burner there. Seuraavat on sieltä ravintolasta ja näistä voi nähdä sen "grillin".

They had taped "merry xmas" on the wall and it obviously left a mark. Seinään on ollu teipattuna "hyvää joulua", mutta kuten näkyy, se jätti jäljet...

What a weekend!

Wow! I can't even describe the weekend Ive had! On Friday we headed towards Toronto and The Science Center. I had my camera on almost the whole driving, about 2 hours, and I had just told that the batteries have never died and they'll last, but what happened when we got to the science center? The battery died. I got to take maybe 2 pictures with my own camera, but then luckily Kathy lend hers so I could take more photos. The center was really interesting, there was a lot of things to do and there was no way we could do everything. But it was really nice to see it. After we left there we were so tired that we went to have some rest in the hotel we spend the night in and then we went to eat to this Asian restaurant. In every table there was this burner so the waiters just brought you raw meat and sea food and veg and you had to cook it yourself. When we arrived there, the air was clear but maybe 30 minutes later there was this thick greasy fog  floating in the air. You can jsut imagine how much our clothes stank when we left later. The food was good and there was a lot of it since it was an "all you can eat"-restaurant. I tried some sushi rolls with cucumber and mango and it was good. Maybe not my favourite, but good. For dessert we had mango (and green tea) ice creams.

The next morning we ate at the hotel and if anyone has eaten breakfast in a Finnish hotel, I can tell you it was nothing alike! The only healthy things there was, was yoghurt and muesli (and bananas), everything else was white bread and muffins and pan cakes and funny looking eggs etc... I had pan cakes and maybe an hour later I was hungry :)  After eating we left for Niagara Falls. The place has been commercialized so there was quite a lot of things besides the Falls. I took some pictures of the things so you can take a look. The photos are in no chronological order, if you're wondering.

Mikä viikonloppu mulla onkaan ollut! Perjantaina me suunnattiin auton nokka kohti Torontoa ja tiedekeskusta. Mun kamera oli päällä melkein koko parin tunnin ajomatkan ja olin just ihanasti kertonut kuinka sen akku ei koskaan lopu. Kaikki tietenkin arvaa mitä tapahtu, kun päästiin sinne tiedekeskukseen. Sain otettuu ehkä pari kuvaa omalla kameralla siellä, kunnes akku loppu, mutta onneks Kathy lainas omaansa.Tiedekeskus oli tosi mielenkiintonen ja siellä oli paljon kaikkee tekemistä, eikä mitenkään oltas pystytty tekeen kaikkee. Mutta siellä oli kiva käydä. Oltiin tosi väsyneitä sieltä lähtiessä, joten mentiin hotelliin lepäämään ja viemään tavarat. Sieltä sitten mentiin yhteen Aasialaiseen ravintolaan. Joka pöydässä oli sellanen grilli, tai mikä lie ja tarjoilija toi siis raakaa lihaa ja mereneläviä ja kasviksia ja ne piti itse kypsentää. Kun saavuttiin sinne ravintolaan, ilma siellä oli kirkas mutta jonkun ajan päästä siellä leiju sellanen paksu rasvasumu ja voi vaan kuvitella miten paljon meidän vaatteet lemus kun sieltä päästiin pois. Ruoka oli hyvää ja sitä oli paljon, se oli "syö niin paljon kuin haluat/jaksat"-ravintola. Maistoin muutaman sushirullan, joissa oli oli kurkkua ja mangoa ja ne oli ihan hyviä. Ei ehkä mun lempiruokaa, mutta ihan ok. Jälkkäriks saatiin mango- ja vihreeteejäätelöä.

Seuraavana aamuna syötiin hotellilla ja jos joku on syönyt suomalaisessa hotellissa aamupalaa, voin kertoa että tää ei ollut lähelläkään sitä. Ainoot tarveelliset syömiset siellä oli jugurtti, mysli ja banaanit. Kaikki muu oli vaan valkosta leipää, muffinseja, pannukakkja ja hassun näkösiä kananmunia yms. Söin pannukakkuja ja jo n.tunnin päästä mulla oli nälkä. Kun oltiin syöty, lähdettiin katsomaan niitä kuuluisia Niagaran putouksia. Koko se paikka oli täysin kaupallistettu, joten siellä oli hirveesti kaikkee juttua niitten putousten lisäks. Otin jotain kuvia niistäkin hassuista jutuista. Kuvat ei ole mitenkään aikajärjestyksessä, joten ei kannata ihmetellä.

There was this big bridge in our way so that big boats would be able to go under it. Matkan varrella oli iso silta, koska sen ali menee kanava ja isojen laivojen pitää päästä tien ali.

My first photo of the Falls. This is the American side of it. Eka kuvani putouksista. Tämä on Amerikan osa niistä.

And who wouldn't love these beautiful tulips? Kukapa ei rakastaisi näitä kauniita tulppaaneita.

This is the place we went to eat at the Falls. Täällä käytiin syömässä lauantaina.

There were beautiful parks. Siellä oli kauniita puistoja.

Ihmiset on kaivertaneet nimiään tähän puuhun. People have carved their names on this tree.

Someone forgot something, didn't want to take a closer look. Joku  unohti omaisuuttaan mutten halunnut tutkia lähemmin...

This is how Canadians show that there is a construction going on. Näin Kanadalaiset kertoo, että tiellä on työ käynnissä.

This vehicle looks funny, but it's actually made to be like that and there is water inside of it. Tää ajoneuvo näyttää aika hassulta, mutta se on itseasiassa tehty tälläseks ja siellä on vettä sisällä.

My first photo of a school bus, you see these all aver the place. Eka kuvani  koulubussista, näitä näkyy joka puolella täällä.

A little bit bigger than the ones whe have in Hämeenlinna? Vähän isompi kuin kotona Hämeenlinnasssa olevat...
